Who is geebiz intended for?

geebiz has been designed from the ground up to suit small businesses, particularly sole traders or partnerships. By no means exclusively, it is well suited to tradespeople and anyone else for whom putting together a full-size website is too much of an undertaking.

Do I have to be a business?

geebiz may also suit other small organisations such as charities. It's not really best suited for non-trading individuals, but if you can make it work for you within the contraints of our terms of use then go for it!

How much will my geebiz page cost me?

Our current costing is £20 per year, or £40 for three years, payable via PayPal's secure server. However with our beta programme currently underway, you could get your page for nothing. Domain registration fees, if required, are not included. You can fully test your page design before paying us a penny.

Does my webpage include an email address?

Yes! If your published webpage is for example mypage.geebiz.co.uk, you get a free email address mypage@geebiz.co.uk. Any messages received are automatically forwarded to the verified registered email address on your account. Feel free to refer to the email address in your page text.

Why are the fonts different for the banner and the main text?

The banner is displayed as a graphic, using fonts installed on the geebiz server. The main text uses fonts installed on your own computer. On the whole these are different, but should look good in the contexts that they are used.

Can I use my own professionally designed banner?

Please get in touch with us, and we can let you know the technical requirements and then install the banner. At our discretion, there may be a small one-off charge for this. If you would like us to design a custom banner, that's possible too.

Can I have my own domain, rather than mypage.geebiz.co.uk?

Yes, but you must register it yourself. If you are interested in doing this, we can guide you through the process, and set things up at our end. At our discretion there may be a small one-off charge for this, in addition to any domain registration or renewal fees you incur.

Who runs geebiz?

geebiz is wholly and exclusively operated by Goznet Systems, who've been in business since 2006 and with web design and development expertise going back over a decade further!
